Captain Farhat Imam started his marine career in 1974 with Shipping Corporation of India and later joined Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) in Singapore, accruing extensive experience onboard major vessels including tankers, containers, bulk carriers, etc. Whilst at NOL’s corporate headquarters, he played a key role in establishing American Eagle Tankers (AET). He later joined RESOLVE Marine Group as Chief Operating Officer in 2005, where he helped the company experience significant growth and establish a strategic global footprint, possibly amongst the top companies in the world in this field. With over 45 years of experience in the maritime industry, he is a very well-known world executive and a mover and shaker in the industry directly and through his extensive contacts.
